Other teaching resources on the Lawrence campus:

Academic Achievement and Access Center offers individual consultations, group workshops, and general or course-specific academic assistance to students. Their Tutoring Services office provides low-cost tutoring for general education courses.

Disability Resources assists students with special needs, whether physical, sensory, medical, psychological, or related to attention or learning. They also help faculty members make appropriate accommodations for students with these needs.

Freshman Sophomore Advising Center staff work with underclassmen in order to help them have accurate academic information, understand their academic responsibility, and identify and integrate the many resources of the University.

Instructional Development and Support provides hands-on training and assistance with various classroom technology resources, such as Blackboard. And faculty can use IDS equipment for scanning, digital video editing, CD-ROM production, and digital photography.

Library Instructional Services offers instructor-led workshops on computing and information literacy topics, customized classes for KU courses and other groups, consulting services for individuals, and resources for instructors and learners.

The Writing Center provides trained peer consultants to help students understand and practice strategies effective writers use, from brainstorming to editing. They also help students understand and practice writing-to-learn for writing in all subjects now and for writing in the future.
