Making Learning Visible

Conference Highlights Include:

  • Models of effective assessment for learning—from individual classes to department level.
  • “Teaching Basics” sessions on leading discussions, using live distance learning, and teaching the new generation
  • Breakouts on teaching innovations, such as teaching introductory courses for students with a range of abilities, using service-learning, and understanding the new system for documenting the evaluation of teaching at KU.

    of accountability.
  • Peer review in real time.
  • Building consensus on department learning goals.
  • Pros and cons of portfolio assessment.

You can pick up your registration materials inside the northwest entrance to Budig Hall at 8 a.m. We’ll serve a continental breakfast in CTEuntil 8:20 a.m. The first session will be held in 130 Budig at 8:30 a.m. Your lunch will be provided if you register by August 14.
